Perri + Will | One-Year Anniversary
Perri and Will’s one-year anniversary session took place at a marina in Grand Haven, which made for such an easy, relaxed setting. Anniversary photos feel different from engagement or wedding photos, and that’s part of why I like them so much. There’s less anticipation and less pressure around the session. You’re not counting down to anything. You’re simply documenting what life looks like now.
For Perri and Will, that meant a quiet evening around the marina, walking the docks, hanging out near the boats, and letting the session feel more like time together than a photo shoot. Grand Haven was such a fitting backdrop for the session. The marina gave us texture and movement without needing much else, and the whole evening felt casual in a way that suited them really well.
I love that these photos now mark a completely different season than their wedding photos. Same two people, one year later, with a little more life lived together. That’s reason enough to document it.
