Jake + Olivia | This Is the Place Heritage Park Wedding
Olivia and Jake’s wedding at This Is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City was beautifully done without ever feeling overstated. The design was refined and intentional, with florals by Flutter Florals, thoughtful lighting, classic fashion, and details that worked naturally with the Kimball Home.
This one was especially personal for me because Olivia is my sister. Photographing her wedding meant knowing nearly everyone in front of my camera and being able to recognize the relationships and moments that mattered without needing them explained to me.
The weekend began with a welcome party at Squatters Pub & Brewery before everyone gathered at the Kimball Home the following day.
Olivia wore a gown from Boda Bridal, paired with soft florals and a wedding design that felt elevated but still comfortable. Before the ceremony, she shared a first look with our dad, followed by a first look with Jake on the balcony of the Kimball Home.
Their outdoor ceremony took place behind the house, with the space later transitioning into the reception. Afterward, we gathered everyone for a large group photograph before moving into cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.
Later that evening, Olivia and Jake stepped away for a few golden-hour portraits around the property before heading back to the reception.
Getting to be part of my sister’s wedding weekend so special.
